Sublimation
Have you been wondering what sublimation is? Then wonder no more today you are going to understand this term more. Sublimation means a high technology process that is used commonly for printing on-demand apparel.
To the world of apparel, sublimation is a game-changer that allows clothing prints and designs to be seamless.
You can print photos on your t-shirt in very few steps. You can print photos on t-shirts for parties, for groups or any other function. The process is straightforward; all you need is a sublimation paper. Sublimation papers are available from Amazon or in most high end stationery shops.
Steps
- Have a photo or picture which meets your needs. You can obtain pictures by downloading them from google or take one using your digital camera. Remember that you must flip images before printing.
- Use a printer to print your image of choice on sublimation paper.
- The third step is an arrangement. Begin by pressing your t-shirt using an electric presser machine. Subsequently, place a cardboard sheet to put your t-shirt in a tight position.
- Transfer the image to the t-shirt, start by preheating, pressing to 375 to 400 farads. Then place your t-shirt down onto the t-shirt. Ensure you limit the movement of the t-shirt by sticking it with tape. Press your sublimation paper for around two to three minutes.
- As the electric sublimation machine is heating the paper and ink simultaneously, they react with the garment. The ink is converted into a gas; the pores of the t-shirt are opened up, allowing the gas to enter. Withdrawal of heat makes the pore close; thus, the image remains inscribed on your t-shirt.
- After printing your images, ensure you wash the t-shirt in cold water. Use a detergent powder but don't use a brush
